A CLINICOPATHOLOGICAL STUDY OF STOMACH CARCINOMA- IN TERTIARY CARE HOSPITAL

Introduction: The greatest burden of today's society is cancer. According to fatality statistics, this is the world's second most frequent disease after cardiovascular issues. Stomach cancer is the world's second biggest cause of death. Stomach cancer affects people in different ways in different areas of the world and in different countries. It is still the fifth most prevalent cancer among males and the seventh most common cancer among women in India. India, on the other hand, has a lower incidence of stomach cancer than the rest of the world, and it is designated as the area with the lowest incidence of stomach cancer.
Aims: To investigate the clinical and pathological manifestations of stomach cancers.
Material and Methods: Type of study: Prospective observational study.
Place of study: Department of surgery of tertiary care hospital.
Sample size: A total of 107 individuals were identified as having stomach cancer and were monitored.
Conclusion: Our findings suggest that the risk of stomach cancer increases with age, especially after 40 years. Prohibition of eating meat, as well as stomach cramps such as alcohol, bid, tobacco, and tobacco, reduce the risk of stomach upset and cancer. Weight gain should be managed with special care, and abdominal discomfort may be a key diagnostic tool that will be tested for follow-up.
